As we draw near some of the last groups in cabi’s spring collection, I can’t wait to hear stories about what your favorite “work from home” looks have been. This gorgeous green group is called Sophia by cabi clothing and I know you will love it as much as I have. When this “pandemic” hit, I barely got out of joggers and t-shirts. Now, I crave getting dressed and putting on makeup. Anything to feel normal!
There are some gorgeous pieces in this group that can take you from your favorite work from home spot, right out the door as we move back in to some normalcy. It’s one of my favorite things about cabi…the versatility of each piece. The ability to transition your looks with a few keys pieces in your wardrobe.
Topping Things Off
I have said it before, but I am always drawn to cabi’s jackets. They just know how to fit a woman’s body. The cut of each jacket nips you in and flatters any body type in the right places. It’s always so hard for me not to keep every jacket each season!
Let’s start with our Dylan jacket. This classic denim jacket is anything but standard. There is the perfect amount of stretch to the jacket that doesn’t have you feeling encased. This could not be more important to me! There is nothing worse than wearing an outer piece that has you feeling stiff. Now the details… this darling jacket has a raw edge in the back with a slight A-line cut. The belt is what truly sets this piece apart. You can tie the belt in back, creating an hourglass silhouette or wrap it around the front for a non typical look from a denim jacket. As always, the belt is removable which leaves the most flattering coverage with its A-line swing.
The Library jacket…a classically beautiful “Chanel” look to it. Loving that there is no lapel and a raw hem that flatters the edges of the jacket as well as the cuffs. Don’t get me started about the gorgeous floral lining. It’s a shame we can’t wear it inside out.
The last topper in this group is the Trio sweater. This darling arrangement of colors on the sleeve, adds so much detail and interest to any outfit. I love anything with a dolman sleeve. A piece that gives a little grace in the arms and hangs as your outer wear to a tank, t-shirt or blouse…this always flatters.
I know that for so many of us, the Cafe lounger pant has been on repeat these last few weeks. What is more delicious than a pant with an elastic waist ladies? Not much! Add a flare leg to it and SCORE! It can be paired to a simple tank and flip flops for the perfect vacation lounge wear. Top it right over a one peice bathing suit! You are instantly dressed and super hip with your “body suit” on! LOL. I have seen them worn dressy with heels or the best is rocking an elastic band around the ankle and wearing them harem style. It’s actually super beautiful on the leg! Give it a go and leave me a pic!
The Union sweater is gorgeous with its lace detail all around the v-neck hem. It may be a little low cut for some, but that’s easy enough to remedy with a black cami. For others…it may be just the right amount of a “date night” look. My favorite part of the sweater is that the hem catches at the waist and billows over. So you have this slender nip at the waist and then all of this fabulous room in the body of the sweater. Not so much that it hangs, but just enough to have that dessert! 😉
In every group you will find the cabi closet essentials. The perfect pieces that will pair back to everything. Easy transitional pieces taking your wardrobe from day to night.
In the Sophia by cabi clothing these pieces include the Province tank…this classic t-shirt fabric with just enough sophistication in the details of the high neckline. The Amelia tank…with its various directions of stripes, makes this the most flattering cut for any body type. Add the gorgeous pop of green, and it changes any outfit up. The Hobnob cami…has the double hem hitting under the bust. It flatters any bust and gives you the perfect cut with its change of color on each layer.
Last but not least, the Thespian blouse and the Drama Skirt are two of those pieces that make a statement. Worn together it gives you this dynamic floral dress. Worn separately, and the skirt can be dressed up or casual with a t-shirt and tank in the summer time. The blouse is perfect with a pair of denim or tucked right in to that perfect work skirt.
As we all transition in to a new normal…whatever the heck that will look like, I hope that cabi finds its way in to your closet. These are such easy to wear pieces that will always hold their own against time and over the top trends! I hope you loved Sophia by cabi clothing collection!
