Hi lovelies~
Another trend that I am loving this season is print mixing. Print mixing is one of my favorite things when styling an outfit. As you begin to play with mixing things up, this allows you to show off your own unique personality as well as keeping things fresh in your closet. This is especially true when you are trying to use several pieces multiple ways and times. As a rule for my closet, before I purchase a piece, I ask myself if I can wear that item at least 3 ways. I’m also going to add, that what I am loving about these new cabi fall pieces, is that they transition beautifully in this ridiculous 100 degree weather! My trousers, are the connery trouser in plaid. These are truly the most delicious pair of ponte pants. The fabric, gives you so much stretch and comfort. I love that they are a slender fit, but conform to any body type. It’s wearing a pajama like feel with the look of a professional trouser.

The Rule For Print Mixing
The rule for mixing prints together is to have the same tones in the prints, and to have different shapes and sizes. So, you would not want to mix the plaid pant with another plaid. Try things like florals and stripes together first, to get the feel of mixing up something new. I absolutely love the double v of the Shadow blouse. Honestly, I am not a huge floral girl, but sometimes I find the right florals with the perfect colors and they work wonderful in my closet. These two prints compliment each other so nicely. I make sure to keep my shoe tonal when I have a lot going on with prints.

I would LOVE to see what your mixing up this season! Send me some pics ladies and I will post your darling pics on my page. I want to see you! Thanks for sharing with me everything I find fabulous,
xoxo
